Movies on a Budget

Going to the movies used to be a cheap, fun activity to do. Nowadays movie tickets can cost up to $20, which can definitely add up when there are new movies coming out all the time. There was a time when I stopped going to the movies and just waited until it was available to download or rent because I would rather spend the money elsewhere. After discovering that movie theaters have discount days, I can now enjoy going to the movies again for as little as $5 a ticket! See below for some great deals on movie tickets: AMC - one of my favorite theaters because they offer reclining, heated seats. Just sign up for their free AMC Stubs membership and you can buy tickets for $6 every Tuesday. They usually have movie times up to 2 weeks in advance so it's easy to reserve your seats ahead of time. Cinemark - tickets for $6.25 on Tuesdays for movie club members. Edwards Regal - discounted tickets on Tuesdays and Sundays ranging from $5.50-9.50 depending on the theater location....

Dining Reward Memberships

Many dining establishments these days have memberships that track your spending and reward you with discounts or complimentary items! I always look for ways to earn while spending, so here are some of my favorite places to sign up for. Starbucks Rewards : Most people already know about it, but for those who don't all you have to do is sign up and you earn stars for every purchase that you can redeem for free coffee and food items. You also get a free treat on your birthday. Boiling Point : Download the app and write your member # on the receipt when you get the bill to earn points to get $10 off your next meal. Boudin Bakery : The app generates a code for you to present to the cashier every time you order which keeps track of your spending.
